Harrods has confirmed that the Bristol branch of its H Beauty chain will open in the spring. The move follows its debut in Edinburgh last year, at which time it said the Bristol location would open within the next 12 months.

The company has added several H Beauty stores since it opened its first premium beauty location at the Lakeside mall in Essex in September 2025. It had planned to open other stores earlier than it did but multiple lockdowns got in the way.
That said, it now has three stores up and running, including a Milton Keynes branch. It also plans to open in Newcastle’s Metrocentre.
The Bristol branch will be located in the city’s key Cribbs Causeway mall and “opening soon” boards have already appeared across the front of the H Beauty space.
In announcing the Bristol site, Annalise Fard, Director of Home and Beauty at Harrods, had said: “This is a hugely important and exciting milestone for Harrods, as we continue with our ambitious plans to expand our domestic footprint through H beauty. The incredible response we have had to our first H beauty store openings not only reflects the ongoing demand for exceptional, high-quality retail experiences outside of London, but also the passion for beauty that exists amongst the customers we serve in these regions.”
The H Beauty expansion comes as premium beauty has remained fairly resilient during the pandemic, despite the dent that work-from-home orders, mask-wearing and the cancellation of social events made in sales of make-up and fragrances.
Expansion-focused retail giant Next has also been opening premium beauty stores and Frasers Group has been adding an upscale beauty element to its luxury Flannels fashion chain.
