This autumn, Mickey and Minnie are teaming up with a certain famous French crocodile. Lacoste has just unveiled a unique collaborative collection with Disney, the latest iteration of its Lacoste Holiday Collector series launched a few seasons ago. The reason for the capsule? Disney and Lacoste are commemorating their 85th and 90th anniversaries, respectively. In celebration of the launch, the French brand has invited some 30 journalists from Europe, Turkey, Brazil and South Korea to Disneyland Paris in order to give them a sneak peak of the capsule.

The unique collection offers pieces for men, women and kids, including t-shirts, polos, sweatshirts and jumpers decorated with embroidery and 3D printing. Mickey takes pride of place in menswear while Minnie plays the starring role for the womenswear, the Lacoste crocodile being discreetly applied to the bottom corner of each piece. In terms of accessories, the collection offers a canvas backpack featuring an all-over tone-on-tone print, and a range of leather pieces decorated with Mickey and Minnie's smiling faces. The collection's sneakers  – in white canvas with blue laces  – are slickly understated and feature a mini-silhouette of Mickey playing tennis at the back of the foot.

The capsule will go on sale on 1st November in the US, the country of Walt Disney's birth having called dibs on the collaboration's debut. The rest of the world will have to wait another two weeks for 14th November, when the collection will launch internationally through Lacoste's brick-and-mortar retail network and e-commerce site.
