British online fashion brand Scamp & Dude has opened its first standalone flagship store on the banks of the River Thames in picturesque Marlow, Buckinghamshire.
Brand founder and nearby Cookham resident Jo Tutchener-Sharp has debuted in a 1,569 sq ft space “filled with retail joy”, we’re told. The store will showcase the brand’s “growing collection of stylish and responsible womenswear and accessories”. At the same time, it will also “celebrate the power of community, something that sits at the very heart of Scamp & Dude”.
Now in the brand’s sixth year, the store also displays S&D’s recent refresh with a new logo and slogan – ‘We’ve got your back’ reflecting its desire to “continually give back and help others when they need it the most”.
The high street store aims to offer “the only fully immersive destination for the brand’s fast growing and joyful community to come together and experience the world of Scamp & Dude”.
That extends from ongoing charity campaigns and give-back programmes to experiential events for the local community and loyal customers “to demonstrate and bring to life the brand’s generosity and vision to bring positive and joyful clothes to every wardrobe”.
Following an intense growth period for Scamp & Dude and a new focus on the womenswear division, which recently launched into the Liberty London department store, womenswear now makes up over 90% of all brand sales.
Tutchener-Sharp said: “I am incredibly proud to be taking this next step in our Scamp & Dude brand journey… after our exponential growth in the business over the past five years. As our local town, Marlow means so much to us and we are hugely excited to bring our joyful world of Scamp & Dude to the already vibrant local high street and to welcome a community of new and existing customers.”
