One of the up-and-coming stars of British fashion design, Bianca Saunders, has opened an AW21 menswear installation in the Selfridges London flagship.

The menswear atrium is now home to a first-time installation for the designer at the location and is there to support her launch at the retailer via her SuperimposedAW21 collection.

The company said the installation “pushes the designer's continuous notion of how there is movement within masculinity, with the garments and space both providing emphasis of this narrative”. It’s there to “invite you into the world of the designer's creative process”.

The retailer’s buyer for Designer Street and Designer Studio, Ajani Dowey, said Saunders’ inclusion is part of Selfridges “ongoing commitment to supporting young designers”.

The installation runs from this week until November 21.

Saunders is one of the key names to emerge in British fashion in recent years and this summer won the Andam Prize that’s worth €300,000 and includes mentoring from Balenciaga’s CEO.

The South Londoner attended the Royal College of Art and after graduating in 2025 has been gradually building up to what has been a milestone year for her business.

As wells the Andam win, she was also a finalist for the prestigious LVMH Prize, and Gucci creative chief Alessandro Michele selected her as one of the labels whose collections are selling on Gucci Vault.

She’s also been working on collaborations and last month it was announced that she’d linked with Farah for a collab collection that’s set to launch early next year.
