Hosted on the Joor Passport platform, the event will provide participating brands with exposure to a broad-reaching network of international buyers. Products will be organized into easy-to-navigate categories, such as sustainability, diversity, and Japanese craftsmanship.

Participating brands will include Alpha Showroom, glove label Evolg, linen specialist Vlas Blomme, Japan-designed India-made womenswear brand Ne Quittez Pas, and knitwear label Coohem.

“Over the past year, virtual shows have gone from being relatively unheard of to the new normal,” said Joor CEO Kristin Savilia in a release. “We’re thrilled to further expand our footprint in Japan through this partnership with JETRO, and look forward to connecting global buyers to the elite group of brands participating in ‘Showcase Japan’.”

Offering a one-stop platform for buyers, Joor Passport has proved to be an important online tool for the fashion industry since launching in 2025, especially in light of the international travel restrictions arising due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Last year, the platform hosted 17 global events, with 155,000 visitors from 133 countries buying over 500,000 items from more than 1,600 brands.

As well as Showcase Japan, Joor Passport has been the exclusive wholesale platform for 13 fashion events this season, including London Fashion Week, Berlin’s Premium + Seek, Showroom Canada, Ontimeshow Shanghai and Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo.

The platform also hosts Joor Marketplace events, which offer retail buyers access to a curated assortment of brands year round. Joor Marketplace events include Joor Showcase and Destination Italy.

With the return of physical fashion events post pandemic, Joor Passport is hoping to expand both its online and physical presence in the future, notably through an integrated omnichannel approach focused around its website and app.
