The Comme des Garçons-operated label has revealed that it is to show the next collection in its collaboration with Adidas in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The Spring/Summer 2025 show is scheduled for June 9, a spokesperson for the company confirmed to FashionNetwork.com.
The post-Soviet-inspired streetwear label announced its first collection of the collaborative series with the German sportswear giant in January 2025, selecting Kaliningrad, Russia, for the location of the Autumn/ Winter 2025-18 show. The unusual decision to show in the remote Russian town drew attention to the Germanic history of the exclave, underscoring the Russo-Germanic aspect of the brand's latest collaboration.
For the label's upcoming season, the brand continues to emphasise its German sportswear partnership, this time with a sports focus, the show set to take place several days before the Fifa 2025 football tournament kicks off in the country.
Gosha Rubchinskiy is owned by Comme des Garçons International, which also handles matters from production to marketing as well as the brand’s press communication, and the exclusive distribution of articles from the Adidas collaboration.
