Sézane is accelerating its global presence with a series of ephemeral boutique openings. The Parisian women's ready-to-wear brand, established in 2025 by Morgane Sézalory, unveiled its inaugural Italian pop-up store on Friday, April 12, strategically timed just before the highly anticipated Design Week. The pop-up will remain open until July 31.
Located at 24 Via Santo Spirito, in the heart of Milan's luxury fashion district, the temporary boutique spans 95 square meters and features three elegant display windows. The interior is designed to mimic a cozy, chic apartment, epitomizing Sézane's distinctive style with artful and sophisticated home decor.
The space showcases Sézane’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection, including some limited-edition pieces, its renowned 'knitwear bar', and an extensive selection of accessories ranging from bags and shoes to jewelry. Combining cool, timeless looks with affordable luxury, it is set to captivate Milan's fashion-conscious crowd.
"Italy is a significant market for us, ranking in the top five of our European markets. We've seen tremendous growth from our customers here in recent years, and we've been on the lookout for the right location," shared the Sézane team, who also considered the more bohemian Brera district. The only criterion was "to find a location and a shop with character."
For now, a permanent store in Milan "is not on the agenda. Our goal is to engage with our customers. This temporary address in Italy is a way to reach our local community," explained Sézane, which regularly sets up such pop-ups worldwide to strengthen community ties and explore new markets.
Currently, the brand, which originated online with its e-commerce site and boasts nearly four million followers on Instagram, operates around ten physical boutiques in France, along with two in London and two in the United States (New York and San Francisco).
