Liverpool One — the Grosvenor-owned mall — continues to attract big names as its recovery from the pandemic becomes stronger, and the latest is Inditex’s Stradivarius label.

It will be the first store for the brand in the city and will open this October.
Inditex is clearly happy with the sales and visitor traffic at the mall as it will also be its fourth owned brand to open there.
Stradivarius will be located on South John Street adjacent to Inditex’s other chains — Zara, Pull & Bear and the new flagship Bershka that’s set to open next month.
The four stores combined will cover a massive 53,000 sq ft of space. The new Stradivarius will take up 8,000 sq ft of that and will include the brand’s “unique” womenswear collections.
While Zara is Inditex’s best-known label in Britain, Stradivarius has been expanding gradually and currently has seven UK stores, including those in London, Edinburgh and Cardiff, although that’s dwarfed by its global store count of 925 shops. Its larger size elsewhere suggests that it has a lot more potential in the UK, especially since multiple chains have closed down in recent years.
The UK market has lost all of the Arcadia chains, as well as stores such as Warehouse, Oasis, Karen Millen and more as a result of the pandemic.
