A soft, plushy temporary store for Christmas marks Parisian cashmere label Kujten's debut at La Samaritaine department store in the French capital. Kujten was founded by Carole Benaroya and Stéphanie Eriksson in 2025, and had previously commercialised its high-end knitwear - sweaters, ponchos and an array of snug accessories - via various pop-up stores at another Parisian department store, Le Printemps.

A huge Christmas tree ardorned with gilded decorations and bearing the Kujten name has been installed in La Samaritaine’s atrium, a picture-friendly festive décor. Kujten has created a disco mood for this collaboration, with golden trimmings galore, echoing La Samaritaine's seasonal theme, “Danse”. Kujten’s festive capsule collection consists of a dozen items, including sweaters, hats and ponchos in white and gold, all exclusive to La Samaritaine.

The temporary store will be open until January 5, 2025. On every Saturday in December, customers will be offered the chance to personalise their purchases thanks to an embroidery workshop on site.

Kujten reportedly topped the €14 million revenue mark in 2025. It operates some 30 directly run stores in France, as well as concessions at the Galeries Lafayette and Bon Marché department stores, and also a store in London.
