The Charlotte Tilbury store at Liverpool One that was flagged earlier this year has now opened, with the brand’s ‘Beauty Wonderland’ being its first new UK location in six years and the first standalone UK Charlotte Tilbury space outside London.
It’s more evidence of the pulling power for brands of so-called supermalls with Liverpool One having seen a number of key debuts already this year.
The 1,000 sq ft store, located on the corner of Paradise Street, adds to Tilbury’s stores in international locations such as Los Angeles, Dubai, and Hong Kong.
It’s fitted out in the label’s signature pink tones, with the interior design replicating its trademark glamorous aesthetic that takes inspiration from golden-age-of-Hollywood vanity tables “to provide an immersive luxury experience”.
The Beauty Boudoir area allows shoppers to book tailored one-to-one appointments and private events – with a selection of treatments available, from mini facials to full-on ‘Tilbury Transformations’.
Landlord Grosvenor’s director of asset management, Alison Clegg, said: “Charlotte Tilbury’s innovative approach to make-up and skincare aligns perfectly with our carefully curated selection of experiential beauty names at Liverpool One, including the likes of Beauty Bazaar, Harvey Nichols and Morphe, and we are confident the brand will be a huge success here.”
Other brands to open at the mall this year include Tessuti, Russell & Bromley and Size?.
