Xiaomi Is Ending Support for 7 Devices

Xiaomi has officially confirmed that seven of its devices will reach end-of-life (EOL) status in April 2025. This means no more software updates, security patches, or major OS upgrades — effectively ending official support for these models.

This move aligns with Xiaomi’s usual update policy, where older devices are phased out after several years of service. Your phone will still function, but without updates, it will gradually fall behind on security and app compatibility.

Devices Reaching End of Support

Xiaomi shared the following list of devices going EOL:

POCO F4 GT

Redmi K50 Gaming

Redmi 10A

Redmi Note 11S 5G

Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G

Xiaomi 11i

Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge

It’s a broad mix, covering everything from gaming powerhouses like the POCO F4 GT to budget options like the Redmi 10A.

Some devices are getting a strong final send-off.

The POCO F4 GT will receive HyperOS 2.0.1.0 based on Android 14, and the Redmi K50 Gaming will finish with HyperOS 2.0.2.0. These final updates pack in the latest features for performance users before support ends for good.

However, midrange and entry-level phones are wrapping up sooner:

Redmi 10A remains on MIUI 12.5.

Redmi Note 11S 5G and Note 11 Pro+ 5G max out with HyperOS 1 based on Android 13.

Xiaomi 11i and 11i HyperCharge also conclude with HyperOS 1 running Android 13.

No HyperOS 2 upgrades for these models — but at least they’re ending on relatively recent software.

What EOL Means for Your Phone

End-of-life doesn’t mean your device becomes useless overnight. It will continue to run apps, make calls, and browse as usual.
