Iconic NYC-based jeweller Tiffany & Co. has opened its first physical retail location in Vietnam, in Hanoi’s up-market Trang Tien Plaza shopping center.

Opened in collaboration with local distribution partner DAFC, the 1,650-square-foot location can be found on the ground floor of Trang Tien Plaza, where it offers customers a full range of jewellery and accessories by Tiffany, including the LVMH-owned brand’s latest Tiffany T collection.
According to a release published by DAFC, the store’s design is inspired by Tiffany’s famous Fifth Avenue flagship. Its stone façade features a main entrance surrounded by amazonite, the color of which references the brand’s emblematic blue boxes, while large windows with Art Deco-style patterns add to the dramatic aspect of the store’s exterior and flood the interior with light.
Inside, the location is decorated with crystal chandeliers, marble floor borders and even a waterfall. As part of Tiffany’s sustainability-focused Diamond Crafts initiative, collaborators at the store are able to tell shoppers everything about a stone’s region or country of origin, as well as about the various stages of the supply chain that brought it into the boutique. This information can also be found on the Tiffany Diamond Certificate.
As well as its partnership with Tiffany, DAFC also holds licenses for a number of other high-end brands in Vietnam, including the likes of Burberry, Christian Louboutin, Dolce & Gabbana, Salvatore Ferragamo and Versace.
Acquired by LVMH for $15.8 billion in January of this year, Tiffany operates more than 300 stores around the world. The jeweller already has a number of locations in Asian markets including Japan, Greater China, Korea, Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia.
