On the evening of November 20, Italian eyewear specialist Marcolin has inaugurated a new showroom in London, next to the Old Street roundabout.
“We are proud to open the doors of our new UK headquarters, located in the iconic Old Street area in the heart of London's innovation district,” said Stephan Hinkerode, head of Northern EMEA at Marcolin. “This showroom, which follows our recent openings in Paris and New York, will play a strategic role in further strengthening our sales presence in UK. It also provides an invaluable space to connect and collaborate with our customers in the UK but also in markets such as DACH and Nordic [countries],” he added.
The interiors of the showroom, located within Old Street Yard, a complex of regenerated industrial-style buildings, have been designed by Milanese studio Navone Associati. At the opening event, guests were able to enjoy an immersive first-hand experience of Marcolin’s artisanal expertise, visiting the ‘creative room’ dedicated to product design and prototyping.
Marcolin operates a worldwide network comprising 15 subsidiaries in Europe (covering Benelux, DACH, France, Italy, the Scandinavian countries, Portugal, Spain and the UK), the Americas (in the USA, Brazil and Mexico), Asia (in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore) and Australia (Sydney), as well as a joint venture in the UAE, and over 150 international distribution partners.
