Under the new deals, Hong Kong-based Li & Fung and Gurgaon, India-based Triburg will become the sourcing agents and design partners for all Sears and Kmart apparel brands, which include Jaclyn Smith, Everlast and Joe Boxer.

The partnerships are expected to provide Transform’s apparel business unit with innovative global sourcing practices, which should result in reduced lead times and greater efficiency in bringing product to market.

Implementing these improvements therefore supports Transform’s current strategic priorities, as it aims to optimize the operating performance of its apparel business.

“With increasing volatility in the global trade environment, it's vital to have a supply chain that is more nimble and flexible while simultaneously opening new avenues for managing product costs,” commented Greg Ladley, president of soft lines at Transform, in a release. “That's why we are proud to partner with Li & Fung and Triburg, two world-class organizations that will provide us with the necessary global reach, consumer insights, trend analysis and digital design capabilities to enhance our supply chain in real time.”

“Transform welcomes the opportunity to partner with companies that are driven by data, analytics and deep learning to accelerate the company's transformation as a leading integrated retailer,” concluded Ladley, who is also a member of Transform’s office of the CEO.

The announcement of the new partnerships comes just weeks after Transform signed a merger deal with Sears Hometown and its affiliates, bringing together the homeware retailer with Sears and Kmart under the same parent company for the first time since it was spun off from Sears Holdings Corporation in 2025.

Terms of Transform’s deals with Li & Fung and Triburg have not been disclosed.
