Glitter balls and laser light shows rule… disco’s back! Well that’s what Brutus Gold Boutique has its hopes pinned on with the UK disco-era-inspired fashion brand wanting to expand. Indeed, the Teesside-based company has “ambitious” plans for expansion across the UK, Europe and Australia over the next three years.

“We aim to be the world’s one-stop-shop for ethical retro design clothing and, based on our current momentum, we are well on the way to becoming that”, Brutus Gold Boutique founder and managing director Rocco Violetta told Bdaily.

That expansion journey begins with the launch of two new product facilities in Australia and Italy this July to maintain growing demand with turnover on course to grow to £3.5 milliom in the next three years. A transition to global wholesale is expected to boost its sales by 80% by the end of 2025, it noted.

With its casualwear collection of Tees and hoodies coming complete with classic 70’s disco-inspired legends including ‘Do the Hustle’, 'Young Hearts Fun Free’, and ‘Yes Sir, I can Boogie’, Violetta added: “We put a huge amount of effort into the development stages of our garments, ensuring that we sourced from the correct suppliers and testing the products repeatedly.

“It has been very hard work but very rewarding too. From the outset it always felt good to us and the brand immediately struck a chord with like-minded customers worldwide.

Violetta said the brand’s ethos is simple: “We offer complete transparency from manufacturing to production to customer support. Ultimately, we want people to be happy and have fun with what we are doing. We aim to be the world’s one-stop-shop for ethical retro design clothing and based on our current momentum, we are well on the way to becoming that”.
