Timberland has launched a new immersive digital experience that takes fans on a journey through the brand’s history.

Dubbed ’TimbsTrails’, the gamified digital experience allows consumers to relive the brand’s biggest moments in an immersive retrospective, divided into six chapters. It celebrates the brand’s stories, art, music and people that created the culture, and honors Timberland’s heritage of bootmaking innovation.
Chapter one takes you to New England where the Timberland story started, chapter two allows you to relive the early international moments of the brand in Tokyo, London and Italy, while chapter three takes you back in time to New York City in the 1990s to hear stories from rapper Fat Joe.
Moreover, chapter four shares stories of responsible sourcing, tree planting and sustainable design, and chapter five explores the most iconic Timberland collaborations, from Bee Line to The North Face to Spongebob. A sixth and final chapter looks to the future with a focus on its continued commitment to purposeful product innovation and eco-leadership. New updates to the experience will be added each season.
The TimbsTrails immersive experience was developed in partnership with R/GA, a global digital innovation agency, and will come to life both online and in Timberland retail stores across the globe, creating a link between the metaverse and the real world.
It officially launched on Thursday in the U.S. and UK, and is expected to launch in other countries.
